Alpine Shepherds

Clayton and Amanda have been members at Alpine since 2011.  They have been married for 19 years have three daughters: Kaycin, Madilyn, and Londyn. They both work in education. During their time at Alpine, they have served in the education ministries of children to youth and adult classes.  Clayton has served as a youth deacon and family ministry deacon. Currently, Clayton is teaching the Young Adult Sunday morning Bible class and Amanda is working with the high school juniors as a Huddle Leader and serving on the Praise team.

Steve and Julie have been members of Alpine for over 20 years.  They have been married for 25 years and have 2 sons and 5 grandchildren who are all believers. Steve worked in manufacturing as a toolmaker and taught applied shop mathematics. Julie was an equine veterinary surgeon and has worked part-time as a relief veterinarian.  Steve and Julie were full-time missionaries for 5 years in Mozambique. They have been serving on the Missions committee for many years in the capacity of deacon (Steve) and co-chair (Julie) and they make regular short-term trips to teach and minister to the church in Mozambique. Steve has also been active in Boy Scouts.

Opie and Natalie have been members at Alpine since 2009 and 2012 respectively.  They have been married for 13 years and have 2 boys: Kason and Kalon.  Opie works in the insurance industry where he oversees a claims department for a coastal risk property insurance company.  Natalie is a Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) leader and is involved as a volunteer for several organizations.  Both Opie and Natalie are involved in several Alpine committees/ministries.

Shane and Vivian have been members at Alpine since August 2022.  They have been married for over 35 years and have four daughters.  Shane is an educator, having served as a history professor, dean of students, and in administrative positions.  Vivian homeschooled their daughters through high school and regularly volunteers at Caring and Sharing.  Shane is in the regular adult teacher rotation for the Chapel class on Sundays.

Chris has been a member of Alpine Church of Christ for over 25 years and Teri has been for over 38 years. Chris has served as an Elder since 2021.  They are blessed with four married children, Joshua Swain, Dillon Swain, Chaska Wilkinson and Andy Norwood and five grandchildren, Ryder, Avonlea, Amelia, Maggie and Maebri. Chris retired from a career as a Radiology Director in the medical field and now works as a REALTOR alongside Teri, who serves as the Broker of their local real estate brokerage.
Throughout their time at Alpine, Chris and Teri have been involved in several ministries, including Life Groups, the Finance Team, Children’s Ministry, Heartfelt, and more. Chris has also served as a leader in Alpine’s Scouting program for over 28 years, impacting the lives of many young men along the way.

Chris and Becky have been members at Alpine for 23 years.  They have been married since 2003 and have one son: Caleb, a graduating senior in 2025.  Both Chris and Becky are teachers in the Spring Hill School District.  Their volunteer activities with Alpine are varied with a heavy emphasis on family involvement in the Alpine scouting program.

Clint and Kathy have been members at Alpine for over 12 years.  They have been married 48+ years and have raised 4 children. Clint retired from law enforcement after 30+ years, 24 of which as a Texas State Trooper.  Kathy worked for Texas Utilities for 16 years and 12 as a church secretary.  They are involved in Bible teaching (youth and adult), Heartfelt, Leadership Training for Christ, Safety Team, Iron Men, and life groups.

Jonathan is a lifelong member of Alpine and he and Meagan returned to Longview after college in 2009.  They have been married for 17 years and have two daughters: Abigail and Madelyn.  Jonathan is currently working in real estate investment with family members. Jonathan has served as a deacon and leads communication efforts within the church. Meagan has served in many Alpine Ministries through the years, and is currently an active member of the Women's Ministry. 

Clint and Katie have been members at Alpine since August 2015.  They have been married for 17 years and they have four children: Jack, Cooper, Charlie, and Hudson.  Clint has been in finance his entire professional career and is currently a Financial Advisor, Wealth Manager, and Certified Financial Planner.  Katie co-owns a dance studio and teaches dance to girls 3 to 18.  They are involved in both the children and adult education programs at Alpine, various leadership committees, and life groups.

As a couple, David and Tara have been members at Alpine since 2004, while Tara has attended Alpine since childhood. David and Tara have been married for 20 years and have two sons: Christian and Aiden.  David has worked at Kilgore College for the last 8 years where he is the Department Chair for Math, Engineering, and Physics. Tara is a Speech Language Pathologist at Hallsville North Elementary.  David has served as a deacon for the Alpine Youth Ministry and they both have been active in the children and youth ministries.

Dennis and Cindy have been at Alpine all their married lives. They have been married for 30 years and have raised 5 children who are all believers. Dennis’s professional career has been in service industries in several forms and he is currently part-time House Manager at the Belcher Center. Cindy has worked in the medical field most of her career. They are active in the community and are leaders in the adult education program and Growth Track.

Mark and Delanise have been members at Alpine since the spring of 2022.  They have been married for 43 years and have 4 adult children.  Mark is an independent contractor in HR outsourcing.  Delanise is a retired educator who currently assists individuals working toward their teaching certificate.  Mark and Delanise are active in the education program at Alpine working in both children and adult areas.

Michael and Kristen have been members at Alpine since July of 2015.  They have been married 16+ years and have three children: Michaela, Madelyn, and Bear.  Michael has worked in the construction industry since 2004 and Kristen is an emergency room doctor with Christus. They are involved in education (both children and adults), finance, and family ministries.
